Refund & Returns Policy

At Black Barn Golf Cars, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident when purchasing from us. Because we sell large motorized vehicles and specialty equipment, specific conditions apply to cancellations, returns, and refunds. By placing an order on this website, you agree to the policy below.

1. 30-Day Return Eligibility

Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery only if ALL of the following conditions are met:

• The unit has not been driven more than 10 km (6 miles)
• The unit is in the same condition as delivered
• No modifications, installations, or alterations were made
• All accessories, keys, chargers, and manuals are included
• No cosmetic damage, water damage, or misuse is present

Returns must be approved by us before shipping anything back.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Used or pre-owned golf carts
• Customized or special-order units
• Clearance or discounted inventory
• Batteries, chargers, controllers, or electrical parts
• Trailers once registered or used
• Any item showing signs of use

3. Restocking Fee

Approved returns are subject to a:

20% restocking fee

This covers inspection, servicing, re-conditioning, and administrative costs.

Original delivery and shipping charges are non-refundable.

Customer is responsible for return freight.

4. Deposits

Deposits reserve inventory and remove the unit from sale.

All deposits are non-refundable.

This applies even if the order is cancelled before delivery.

5. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if the unit has not been prepared or shipped.

After 24 hours:
• The order is considered confirmed
• A 15% cancellation fee will apply
• If shipping has been scheduled, the order cannot be cancelled

6. Delivery Damage

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If damage is found:

  1. Note it on the delivery paperwork

  2. Take photos

  3. Contact us within 24 hours

Failure to report damage within 24 hours may void insurance claims.

We will repair, replace parts, or assist with a freight claim when applicable.

7. Refund Processing

Once a returned unit is received and inspected:

• Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Shipping and handling fees are not refundable

If the returned unit does not meet return conditions, the item will be sent back to the customer at their expense.

8. Shipping & Refused Deliveries

Shipping charges are services paid to third-party carriers and are non-refundable once dispatch is arranged.

If a customer refuses delivery:
Return shipping, storage, and handling charges will be deducted from any refund.

9. Warranty (Important)

A defect or mechanical issue is not a return.

It is handled under the Warranty Policy. We will supply parts, repairs, or manufacturer support where applicable.

Refunds are only issued if a product is deemed non-repairable by the manufacturer.

10. Chargebacks & Disputes

By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to this Refund Policy.

In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, we may provide order confirmation, shipping records, tracking numbers, signed delivery proof, and communication records to the payment provider.
