This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are prepared, shipped, and delivered by Black Barn Golf Cars across Canada.

Delivery Area

Black Barn Golf Cars arranges delivery throughout Canada for golf carts, utility trailers, lithium carts, and eligible accessories.

Delivery availability may vary for remote, island, rural, or restricted-access areas. Customers are encouraged to contact us before ordering to confirm service availability.

We reserve the right to decline delivery where freight access is unsafe, restricted, or unsuitable.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is included to many standard service locations within Canada.

Additional delivery charges may apply for:

  • remote or rural areas

  • ferry or island service locations

  • restricted road access

  • special unloading equipment

  • customer-requested delivery changes

Any additional charges will always be confirmed before shipment is arranged.

Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable once freight booking has been confirmed.

Order Processing

Orders are prepared only after full payment has been received and verified.

Preparation may include:

  • inspection

  • testing

  • battery charging

  • documentation

  • packaging

  • freight booking

Typical preparation time: 2–7 business days

Customers are notified when orders are ready for dispatch.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Typical transit times:

  • Ontario & Quebec: 2–7 business days

  • Western Canada: 5–14 business days

  • Atlantic Provinces: 5–12 business days

  • Remote areas: may exceed 14 business days

Transit may vary due to weather, carrier schedules, road conditions, and seasonal demand.

Delivery Requirements

Customers must ensure the delivery location is suitable for unloading.

Customer responsibilities include:

  • safe unloading access

  • sufficient truck access space

  • a person available to receive delivery

  • correct contact information

If delivery cannot be completed because of access limitations, re-delivery or storage charges may apply.

Inspection Upon Arrival

Products must be inspected immediately upon delivery.

If damage is visible:

  • note damage on delivery receipt

  • take clear photographs

  • contact us within 24 hours

Failure to report visible damage within 24 hours may affect freight claim eligibility.

Refused Deliveries

If delivery is refused for reasons unrelated to shipping damage, return freight, storage, and handling charges may apply and may be deducted from any eligible refund.

Risk of Loss & Ownership

Responsibility transfers to the customer once delivery is completed and signed for.

After delivery, the customer is responsible for:

  • storage

  • operation

  • registration (if applicable)

  • maintenance

  • insurance

Shipping Delays

Black Barn Golf Cars is not responsible for delays outside our control, including:

  • weather conditions

  • road closures

  • transport issues

  • carrier scheduling

  • natural events

  • seasonal congestion
